Before the shoot
Confirm the location, contact person, arrival time, wardrobe, makeup arrangements and expected duration. Ask for a written brief and check how the images will be used.
Pack the essentials
Bring the agreed outfits, clean footwear, simple accessories, water and any products you normally need. Avoid arriving with unrequested styling changes that could conflict with the brief.
Work with the camera
Listen to direction and make small changes to your posture, hands and expression. It is normal to need a few frames to relax. Ask to review selected images so you understand what is working.
Maintain clear boundaries
You can ask questions, request breaks and decline changes outside the agreed concept. Never feel obliged to accept unexpected nudity, intimate poses or unsafe conditions.
Afterwards
Confirm image selection, delivery and publication permissions. Credit collaborators when agreed, and keep a record of the usage terms for your portfolio.
